West Ham defender Ben Johnson has insisted the Hammers are desperate to defeat Manchester United in the FA Cup on Wednesday night after struggling at Old Trafford in recent seasons.

United - who defeated Newcastle 2-0 in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday - welcome David Moyes' side to Old Trafford for their FA Cup fifth round tie.

The Reds cruised past Reading in the last round of the competition, securing a 3-1 home victory over the Championship side. Erik ten Hag's side will be looking to progress in the FA Cup as they target more success in the domestic cup competitions this season.

United are the only English side still competing on all four fronts - with the quadruple still on the cards for the recently-crowned Carabao Cup champions.
