Star India batter Virat Kohli was seen having a fun time with head coach Rahul Dravid on Day 1 of the ongoing third Test against Australia.

Kohli, who top-scored for India with his knock of 22, looked positive in his knock, but was undone by Todd Murphy's delivery, which kept low and hit him on the pads.

After being dismissed, Kohli was seen having a chat with Dravid, who couldn't control his laughter after seeing the former India captain's antics.

The interesting conversation was caught on camera on Day 1. Virat and dravid pic.twitter.com/McCXr3sMmU India batters had a disappointing outing in the first innings as Australia spinner Matthew Kuhnemann ran riot at the Holkar Stadium after the hosts had opted to bat.

Team India suffered a forgetful 10-wicket defeat against Australia in the second ODI on Sunday in Visakhapatnam. Asked to bat first, the likes of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and others miserably failed to leave a mark as the hosts were bundled out for 117. Mitchell Starc was the pick among the bowlers as the pacer achieved his ninth five-wicket haul. Later, the visitors made a mockery of the target with the openers Travis Head (51*) and Mitchell Marsh (66*) remaining unbeaten, taking their side across the line in just 11 overs.
There have been multiple big knocks in the history of Indian Premier League (IPL) but nothing can be as explosive as Chris Gayle's 175 against Pune Warriors in 2013. While a number of cricketers have come close to breaking the record, no has achieved it yet but The Universal Boss believes there is one Indian cricketer who can end up establishing a new feat in the tournament. In a recent interaction, Gayle backed Lucknow Super Giants skipper KL Rahul to beat his record and even lauded the India batsman for his aggressive brand of cricket which has made him famous among the fans.
Fitness is much more than just a word for star India player Virat Kohli. A Delhi-born boy, fond of chole bhature, not only sacrificed his love for the food to be superfit, but also took his training to the next level to set a benchmark for fitness. All those efforts seem to have paid off when the batter runs across the pitch to easily convert a single into a double, and at times, the twos into threes. A similar kind of agility is seen when Kohli is fielding on the ground.
The Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia concluded with Virat Kohli ending his Test century drought, scoring 186 runs in the 4th Test at Ahmedabad. Not long after the conclusion of the series, a video of Kohli went viral on social media where was spotted dancing while holding a cricket bat with the Norway dance group Quick Style in Mumbai. Sharing the video on their official Twitter account, Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals trolled their own cricketer Jos Buttler in a hilarious manner.
India's veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin took up the numero uno spot in ICC Rankings for Test bowlers, surpassing England pacer James Anderson. Ashwin, who bagged a total of 25 wickets in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, sits atop with 869 rating points while Anderson is second, 10 rating points behind the Indian off-spinner. Former India captain Virat Kohli also made big gains in the Test rankings for batters, jumping a total of seven places to find himself at the 13th spot in the charts.
Star India batter Virat Kohli hit his first Test century in over three years on Day 4 of the fourth Test against Australia. Kohli had a tough 2021 and 2022, failing to reach three figures in over 1,200 days. However, since scoring his first T20I century during the Asia Cup last year, Kohli hasn't looked back. The 34-year-old finished the T20 World Cup in Australia last year as the leading run-scorer and then hit three ODI centuries including two -- 113 and 166 not out -- against Sri Lanka in January, earlier this year.
