Watch: Stuart Broad Left Fuming As Ben Stokes Refuses To Take Review At Lord's

England cricket team fast bowler Stuart Broad was left fuming after Ben Stokes did not take a review over the umpire's contentious decision during the second Ashes Test at Lord's on Friday.

Marnus Labuschagne was trapped LBW and although the umpire give him not-out, it looked extremely close. Broad was completely convinced that it was out but Stokes decided against it.

However, the replays showed that the ball should have crashed into the leg stump and the review would have been successful. Broad was not happy with the incident and when head coach Brendon McCullum signalled from the dressing room that it would have been out, Broad stopped and made his frustration known to the skipper.

England's commitment to 'Bazball' is testing the patience of former players and fans after another careless batting display left their Ashes hopes hanging by a thread.

During that match at Lord's, England fast bowler Stuart Broad could be seen sledging Australian players, particularly Aleax Carey, after the Bairstow incident. Broad said that it was a strategy.   "It was such an important moment of that game at Lord's. I had to make sure that I was mentally switched on and able to do a job for Ben Stokes at the other end. Part of my strategy was to pick a fight with couple of Australians! So that I would not be focussing on too much technique and I would be focussing on the ball and make sure I stay there. Part of Ashes cricket, the rivalry, the history is very much a great battle out there. Both teams have been really stuck in this series. A lot of the players know each other really well. We lunch in the same room. It's not like there's a huge battle going on off the field," Broad said on Sky Sports.
Chris Woakes led the way with the ball before England openers Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett held firm to give England the upper hand in a must-win third Ashes Test for the hosts against Australia at Headingley on Saturday. Woakes, playing his first Test since March last year, took 3-68 as Australia were dismissed for 224 in their second innings on a rain-marred third day. That left England, who trail 2-0 in the five-match series, needing 251 to win.
