The IPL 2023 game between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Lucknow on Monday was witness to some ugly scenes as RCB star batter Virat Kohli and LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir had a heated exchange.

Throughout the match, Kohli could be seen being quite animated after the LSG wickets fell. The last time when LSG and RCB clashed in Bengaluru in an IPL 2023 game, Gambhir had gestured towards the Bengaluru crowd with a 'shut up' sign.

It is not clear whether Virat was reacting to that. But after the match ended, the two shook hands and things looked perfectly normal.

Then, LSG opener Kyle Mayers walked up to Kohli and started saying something to the RCB great. It was at this point, Gambhir came and took Mayers away.

Royal Challengers Bangalore star Virat Kohli, after playing a match-winning knock against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday, said that he wants to stay true to his techniques and not throw his wicket away, adding that India have got Test cricket coming up after the Indian Premier League. His statement was in regard to the upcoming World Test Champions final which will be played against Australia from June 7 to June 12 at the Oval Stadium in England. Earlier on Thursday, Kohli won the "Player of the Match" in the match for his century while chasing a target of 187.
