Today is the day: Warren Gatland will name his official 33-man squad for the Rugby World Cup this lunchtime. Months of blood, sweat and tears have gone into Wales' preparations for the tournament in France which kicks off next month.And it all comes down to today.
Gatland and his coaching ticket spent Saturday night and all of Sunday agonising over the final selection calls, with the news due to be delivered to the players this morning.
There will have been a few restless nights had last night by a few players, with the blow of missing out on selection likely to be heartbreaking after all the effort which has been exerted over the past few months in Switzerland, Turkey and on the training fields here in Wales, plus the warm-up games.Wales kick off their World Cup campaign against Fiji in Bordeaux on September 10.
