Manchester United's summer transfer business finally appears to be in full swing. The Manchester Evening News understands that Tyrell Malacia is undergoing a medical before being announced as the first signing of the Erik ten Hag era.
The left-back had impressed Ten Hag during his time at Feyenoord, where he played against United's new manager in the Eredivisie.
And that was enough for United to sanction a €15m deal to secure his signature. Malacia is expected to initially play back-up to Luke Shaw before eventually challenging the English left-back for a starting spot.
This means that the club will be open to offers for both Alex Telles and Brandon Williams as they look to raise funds and clear space in the squad for more signings.
