Two men and a boy have been charged after police were called to 'reports of males with weapons' in Trafford. Officers were called to the scene at the Lostock Circle in Stretford at around 5pm on Sunday (July 16).
Police said two men and one 16-year-old boy have now been charged in connection with the incident. Edward Waters, 29, of no fixed abode, has been charged with affray, possession of an offensive weapon, making threats with an offensive weapon in a public place and possession of cannabis. A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with affray, possession with intent to supply cannabis, possession of a bladed article in a public place and making threats with a bladed article in a public place.
All three have been remanded into custody. They will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court today. Patrols have also been stepped up in the area.
