Raphael Varane and Mason Mount have both returned to Manchester United training ahead of their Champions League opener against Bayern Munich.
The French defender has missed United’s last two matches through injury but looks set to return for their match in Germany this midweek.
Mount was also spotted back in training after a recent injury that saw him miss the last three matches. Varane’s return to training is a big boost for United at a time when they are faced with an ongoing injury crisis that sees almost an entire line up of players sidelined through injury.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka was the latest player to be ruled out for a number of weeks after suffering a hamstring injury following the weekend defeat to Brighton.
