The body of a missing hiker was tragically found in Snowdonia on Monday (August 7). Daniel Adams, 26, was formally identified after emergency services uncovered a body in the Carneddau area.
Daniel, who was from the Selby area of North Yorkshire, was reported missing after failing to return from a hike. The Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation were also drafted in to assist with the search.

On Tuesday, North Wales Police announced that formal identification had taken place and that the deceased was confirmed to be missing Daniel.
A spokesman on the North Wales Police Gwynedd North Facebook page said: "We continue to work with the coroner and Daniel’s family have been informed." Inspector Mike Andrews added: “Our deepest condolences remain with Daniel’s family and friends at this difficult time.
