Tottenham target Trevoh Chalobah would be tempted in a move to north London and the prospect of staying in the Champions League, according to Daily Star journalist Paul Brown. Antonio Conte wants to add another centre back to his squad before 1 September’s transfer deadline and is believed to be interested in signing the £43m-rated Chelsea youngster.
According to the Evening Standard, Chalobah is considering his future at Stamford Bridge, with Tottenham joining Roma and Inter Milan in the race for his signature.
The 23-year-old enjoyed his breakout at Chelsea last season and played regularly under Thomas Tuchel’s guidance, making 30 appearances in total on his way to winning the Super Cup and Club World Cup.
Chalobah made 17 starts in the Premier League despite Tuchel’s array of central options, which included both Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger.
