Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has slammed the Glazers for failing to invest in Old Trafford after the stadium missed out as a venue for Euro 2028.
A joint bid by the UK and Ireland was submitted to UEFA on Wednesday and included the ten grounds that would host matches should the bid be successful.
Among those making the cut were Manchester City's Etihad Stadium, Everton's new stadium, Aston Villa's Villa Park and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
However, the Theatre of Dreams did not make the list. Old Trafford had been shortlisted in November by the FA but due to redevelopment plans, it was agreed that there could be no guarantees that the stadium would be ready in time for the tournament in 2028.
