“There is another couple of gears” – Derby County fan pundit reacts to new signing’s start at Pride Park

Playing every minute of Derby’s League One campaign thus far, Hourihane opened his account on the opening day of the season, netting an 80th minute winner with an excellent strike from outside the area.

Speaking about Hourihane’s addition and how he has fared up thus far, Football League World’s Derby County fan pundit Jason Straw said: “Conor Hourihane so far in a Derby shirt has been pretty much I think what most Derby fans was expecting when he came in.  “You can see he’s got quality.

You can see he has played at a higher level. You can see that he’s one the best, if not the best midfielder in the division.  “There’s some people that say we’ve not seen the best out of him.
