Taking a ride on a luxurious sleeper train is on many people’s bucket lists. But in reality it can be an expensive experience, and doesn’t really make for a good night’s sleep.
Luckily an Airbnb nestled in the Yorkshire countryside is offering guests all the magic of sleeping in a vintage train carriage, without the hassle of travel and the noisy clickety-clack of the wheels on the railway track.
The Flying Yorkshireman is a compact hut built in the style of a Pullman railway carriage, and although it may not be an actual train carriage, it’s packed full of details which will make you feel like you’re in one.
Located on a working farm near Pateley Bridge in North Yorkshire, around a two hour drive from Greater Manchester, the Flying Yorkshireman overlooks the old Nidd Valley railway line which runs through the farm and has spectacular views of the Yorkshire Dales.
