The Royal Variety Performance is back on TV this weekend. The gala evening, now in its 111th year was filmed at London's Royal Albert Hall at the end of November.

Viewers will be able to see the star-studded annual charity event featuring the best of British and international acts on ITV1 on Sunday (December 17).

It is watched by 152 million TV viewers worldwide, making it the most successful and longest running entertainment show in the world, organisers say.

This year's Royal Variety Performance is billed as "a spectacular evening featuring international stars, world class theatre, sensational singers and hilarious comedy".
