The Royal Variety Performance 2023 - line up, when is it on and who is the presenter
The Royal Variety Performance is back on TV this weekend. The gala evening, now in its 111th year was filmed at London's Royal Albert Hall at the end of November.
Viewers will be able to see the star-studded annual charity event featuring the best of British and international acts on ITV1 on Sunday (December 17). It is watched by 152 million TV viewers worldwide, making it the most successful and longest running entertainment show in the world, organisers say.
This year's Royal Variety Performance is billed as "a spectacular evening featuring international stars, world class theatre, sensational singers and hilarious comedy". It is always filmed in the presence of members of the Royal Family - this year the Prince and Princess of Wales and The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel of Sweden.

The event is staged in aid of the Royal Variety Charity. The money raised from the show helps people from the world of entertainment in need of care and assistance.

The first show was staged in 1912 when His Majesty King George V and Her Majesty Queen Mary attended the first 'Royal Performance'.
Bradley Walsh, a previous performer at the Royal Variety Performance, is your host for the night. The Chase presenter and actor said it was an "absolute honour" to be asked to present the variety show.
