Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke says he is optimistic that a short-term loan deal for Jadon Sancho can be struck with Manchester United as negotiations continue.
Talks are nearing a conclusion but Watzke said his club are not ready to announce a deal just yet. MEN Sport understands that final but important details of the move are still being agreed, meaning Sancho has not been able to join up with the Dortmund winter training squad in Marbella.
The deal does not include an option-to-buy at the end of the season but Dortmund are expected to pay a small loan fee to help with wages. “We are in discussions with Manchester United.
We want to bring him in on loan, that's no secret,” Watzke told reporters at the training camp, as per Sky Germany. READ MORE: United and Dortmund working on final details of Sancho deal READ MORE: Stuttgart address Guirassy exit rumours amid Man United links “We don't announce water level reports.
