Neil Warnock's dressing room rants have become legendary on social media but Nick Montgomery doesn’t need the clips sent to his phone to remember his old gaffer’s brutal honesty.

He filed that lesson in man management a long time ago to call upon in his own dug out career which just last week landed at Hibs.

The veteran gave Montgomery his professional debut as a teenager at Sheffield United 23 years ago and handed him the captaincy somewhere along the next seven years at Bramall Lane.

Warnock’s just one of a string of big names that have made their mark on the 41-year-old. But he’s the one who left the most indelible impression.
