The most expensive postcodes in Greater Manchester where house prices are sky-high

House prices are generally becoming cheaper across Greater Manchester as the property market is showing signs of cooling down.

But defying this downwards trend, there are certain parts of the region where house prices are still sky-high. Using the latest data from the Land Registry data, the Manchester Evening News has looked at the postcodes with the highest average house price, to find the most expensive places to live.

The majority of these postcodes are in Trafford and Stockport, which is where the region's richest residents tend to live. Below are the 10 postcode areas Greater Manchester where property prices are much higher than the average, as well as the percentage they have risen or fallen by over the last year.
