Boxing Day is famous for one thing - its sales. Staff prepare for scores of people to descend upon city centres and shopping malls hoping to bag a bargain in one of the busiest days of the retail calendar.

But in this digital age, some businesses choose to do things a bit differently and stay closed on Boxing Day.
