Students can bag some freebies as they celebrate - or commiserate - their GCSE results on Thursday (August 24). Following a stressful, exam-filled May and June, thousands of students will soon be finding out whether their hard work has paid off.

And no matter the results, they can make the most of some great offers from restaurants across the UK. To make the day a bit smoother, four top restaurants are giving away free food to students this Thursday.

Here's where you need to go and what you need to do to claim them. Try MEN Premium for FREE by clicking here for no ads, fun puzzles and brilliant new features. Popular chicken restaurant Nando's is back with its special student offerings.

A free starter or quarter chicken can be claimed, as long as students show their results slip in restaurants. The promotion can be claimed in-restaurant, for eat-in and walk-in collect only, on minimum orders of £7.
