A number of new housing developments have been tabled across Greater Manchester this week. A total of 256 new homes could be approved in different boroughs in the city-region.
The largest application comes in Trafford where plans for a 159-home apartment block has been mooted. The other applications are smaller in scale in terms of housing numbers but repurpose currently disused buildings. The building is on Wood Street in Bolton town centre. The premises are currently empty, but the previous use was as an office over the ground, first and second floors. New young persons’ centre to be created in area where nearest youth club is more than two miles away An empty building in a neighbourhood miles away from the nearest youth club is to be transformed into a young persons’ centre.
Acorn House, on Back Deane Church Lane in Deane, Bolton, has been approved by Bolton Council to become a ‘Be The Change’ centre.
