Although February half term may nearly be over, there’s still the weekend left to enjoy. If your kids have got energy to burn up then a park is one of the best places to take them.

Luckily in Greater Manchester we have dozens to choose from and many have been loved by families for years. But there’s one park which you may not have been to yet as it’s not even a year old.

Mayfield Park is the city’s newest park and it only opened in September last year - so this is the first February half term you’ll be able to visit it.
