Updated: 4.35pm Here's the latest updates from today's sporting action... Morocco have beaten Belgium 2-0 in Group F at the World Cup in Qatar.

The action was confined to the latter stages, with the first goal coming from Abdelhamid Sabiri in the 73rd minute before Zakaria Aboukhlal added the second in additional time.

Costa Rica defeated Japan 1-0 in their Group E game earlier, with Keysher Fuller scoring the winning goal in the 81st minute.

The result opens the door for Germany - who lost their opening game - who play Spain at 7pm. Before that, Crotia are currently 1-0 down to Canda in the day's 4pm kick-off.
