Stuart Kettlewell insists he’ll let results do the talking as he prepares for his first audition for the Motherwell manager’s job.
The former Ross County boss admits he’d struggle to turn down an offer of the job permanently even though it would be a gamble after stepping up from his job in the Well academy.
Kettlewell is among the favourites to land the position full-time and his hand would be strengthened should he get off to a flier against St Mirren tomorrow night.
Fir Park directors don’t want to delay a decision too long with the club in the midst of a relegation dogfight and other names in the frame include John Hughes, Jim Goodwin, James McPake and Ian McCall.
