Storm Antoni batters Wales as Met Office issues 'danger to life' Amber weather warning - live updates

Wales is braced for Storm Antoni with forecaster expecting it to "bring unseasonably strong winds and heavy rain to the UK on Saturday".Antoni is bringing two separate weather warnings both for wind.

A yellow weather warning covers all of South Wales, up through the Valleys and the south western half of Powys. It also extends up the Welsh coast to the Llyn Peninsula.

However a separate and more severe amber warning is also in place for most of Pembrokeshire as well as parts of Carmarthen and Swansea.The yellow warning is in place from 8am on Saturday till 8pm.

The amber warning covers a shorter period from 11am till 7am. It is important to bear in mind that even when the amber warning is not in place, those parts of Wales will also be covered by the yellow warning. SINGAPORE: A stunning stoppage-time strike by Frans Kratzig sealed victory for Bayern Munich in a pre-season friendly against Liverpool in Singapore on Wednesday as the German league champions came from behind twice to win 4-3. The 20-year-old fired past Alisson as the game entered stoppage time to settle a thrilling encounter in front of a crowd of nearly 50,000 fans at the National Stadium. A goal inside two minutes by Cody Gakpo and a header by Virgil van Dijk had put the English side two goals up in the opening half-hour but Bayern hit back through Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane to level the score before half-time.
The Met Office has extended a yellow thunderstorm warning for parts of the UK - including for some of Greater Manchester.
