Former Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb is expected to agree to a one-year deal with the Jets, reuniting with Aaron Rodgers in New York, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Cobb, 32, played parts of 10 seasons with Rodgers and is a close friend of the four-time NFL MVP. Cobb and Rodgers famously walked off the field together after the Packers' 2022 season-ending loss to the Lions in what turned out to be their final game at Lambeau Field.
Cobb becomes the second former Packers receiver to join Rodgers on the Jets, who also signed Allen Lazard to a four-year deal earlier this offseason.
Cobb ranks fifth in Packers' history with 532 career receptions despite spending two seasons away from the team. He rejoined the Packers in 2021 after playing for the Dallas Cowboys (2019) and Houston Texans (2020).
