Following the signing of Mason Mount earlier this month, Manchester United's midfield is beginning to take shape ahead of the forthcoming campaign.
Manager Erik ten Hag had made it one of his leading priorities this summer to strengthen his midfield options with a younger and more dynamic operator.
Mount, who was snapped up from Chelsea for £60million, is expected to oust Christian Eriksen from the Reds' strongest midfield-three and occupy a deeper role alongside Casemiro.
The England international made his debut in last Wednesday's 2-0 win over Leeds United in Oslo and provided plenty of proof as to why Ten Hag had earmarked him as his top target.
