Mikaela Shiffrin racked up her 88th World Cup victory to finish her historic season on a high. The double Olympic champion grabbed giant slalom glory in Andorra to further cement her hegemony as the planet's premier female alpine skier.

Ad Shiffrin, 28, has already claimed the overall and giant slalom titles and earlier in the season leapfrogged both Lindsey Vonn and Ingemar Stenmark as the athlete with the most individual World Cup race victories.

Canadian Valerie Grenier bagged the final spot on the podium after toppling Swiss star Lara Gut-Behrami by 0.26 seconds. Shiffrin had already wrapped up the overall, giant slalom and slalom World Cup titles and is now a five-time overall Crystal Globe winner.
