Republic of Ireland defender Shane Duffy won't be involved for Fulham when they take on his parent club Brighton at Craven Cottage on Tuesday. The Derry man was Brighton's record signing when he joined in 2016 and made 144 Premier League appearances, but joined the Cottagers on a season-long loan in order to gain more first-team football.Duffy was an injury-time substitute in their first two league games, and didn’t feature at all from the bench in Saturday’s defeat to Arsenal. The 30-year-old will be keen to force his way into manager Marco Silva’s starting XI, while Ireland manager Stephen Kenny will also be hopeful the 30-year-old will see more game time with Nations League fixtures against Scotland and Ukraine coming at the end of September.
