Second Bundesliga club ‘interested’ in Jadon Sancho and more Manchester United transfer rumours

RB Leipzig have reportedly joined Borussia Dortmund in the list of clubs linked with interest in Jadon Sancho. Juventus have also been frequently connected.

All three clubs would likely only be considering the big wages the exiled winger is on at Manchester United. A loan would also buy time for Sir Jim Ratcliffe to mull over the player’s long-term future ahead of a potential summer sale.

Sancho’s contract does not expire until 2026 and so the 23-year-old could still fetch a healthy fee at the end of the campaign, albeit United are unlikely to get near the £73m paid to Dortmund for him in 2021. Sancho has not played since August having accused Erik ten Hag of lying about why he was dropped against Arsenal at the beginning of September.
