Scott McTominay has shared his support for England scapegoat Harry Maguire after his Hampden blunder and that the heavy fire that has followed.
Maguire has been in the firing line for some time, more prominently since his move to Manchester United, though that has accelerated over the past 12 months with Erik ten Hag's preference to start Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez at the heart of the Red Devils' defence.
An own goal against Sevilla in last season's Europa League saw Maguire questioned even more over his form, though England boss Gareth Southgate stood by him.
Against Steve Clarke's men on Tuesday at Hampden, the defender, who had only played 29 minutes of club football all season, turned the ball into his own net for the Auld Enemy, which gave Scotland a strong yet brief way back into the game.
