Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has urged Jadon Sancho to apologise to Erik ten Hag so as to progress his career at the club.
Sancho has been exiled from the United first team squad in recent weeks after a public falling out with his manager. Prior to the international break, Ten Hag criticised the winger's training performances.
This led to Sancho making his feelings known on social media. In a now deleted post, the 23-year-old claimed the comments were 'untrue' and declared himself to be a 'scapegoat' for poor performances at United since his arrival in Manchester. He said: "Show another side to yourself. "If you have got question marks over this player, he is not training properly, but he does turn around and show some sort of humility and goes: 'Yeah, I think I got it wrong.'
