Manchester United are ready to plough on with their midfield reshuffle after agreeing a deal for Mason Mount. The Chelsea playmaker will become Erik ten Hag's first signing of the summer after an agreement was reached for him to move to Old Trafford.
United are now looking to sell players to bolster their transfer kitty. The Manchester Evening News understands that following the move for Mount, the club will push ahead with plans to try and sell a midfielder this summer as well.
Erik ten Hag wanted to freshen up his midfield with the addition of a younger player, hence why he made Mount a priority this summer. The 30-year-old has been attracting interest from Fulham since May and has entered the final year of his contract at Old Trafford.
