Real Madrid made it two wins from two in La Liga on Saturday evening. The Spanish champions were pushed all the way by Almeria in their first fixture, but eventually secured a 2-1 comeback victory thanks to David Alaba’s superb second half free-kick.
Against Celta Vigo on Saturday, things were far easier for Real Madrid. They cruised to a 4-1 away win without both Casemiro and Toni Kroos in midfield next to Luka Modric – who bagged one of the goals. Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior and Fede Valverde were Los Blancos’ other scorers on the night, with Iago Aspas the man responsible for Celta Vigo’s sole effort.
It was a dominant display from Carlo Ancelotti’s men. Aurélien Tchouaméni and Eduardo Camavinga were superb in midfield, while summer arrival Antonio Rudiger was solid after replacing Dani Carvajal in the 69th minute.
And the former Chelsea man even found time to bring out some of his crazy antics while Real Madrid were 4-1 up and cruising.
