Rasmus Hojlund has praised Manchester United's decision to stick with manager Erik ten Hag ahead of next season. The 21-year-old striker, who joined United last summer for a hefty £72m from Atalanta, initially struggled with the demands of the Premier League, not scoring in the top flight until Boxing Day.

However, Ten Hag's unwavering support saw the young Dane finish the season with an impressive 16 goals across all competitions.

Despite Ten Hag facing criticism for United's eighth-place finish - their worst since 1989 - the club ended the season by winning the FA Cup.

United have since decided that the Dutch coach will remain at Old Trafford next season and Hojlund is full of support for his manager.
