They enjoyed a happy return to the Europa League midweek but now the domestic bread and butter turns key for Michael Beale and Rangers.
After a 2-0 win over St Johnstone last weekend proved a timely response to derby defeat against Celtic, the Light Blues will look to build on that against Motherwell.
But it will be no easy task. The Steelmen have had plaudits aplenty since Stuart Kettlewell took charge. And with a grand total of zero away defeats in the league since February, he'll be keen to extend that hot streak.
Heading into the clash, Celtic stand seven points clear of Rangers in the league. It's early days but Beale knows he can't afford for that gap to get any wider, even with October yet to arrive.
