Rangers sacking Philippe Clement only continues cycle of chaos and this is what I’d do to stop it – Barry Ferguson

I don't live in a bubble. And I’m not stupid enough not to realise why Rangers fans are becoming seriously restless right now.

I’ve seen all the stats that have been flying around over the last few days and they don’t make good reading either. As things stand Philippe Clement’s win percentage is worse than Michael Beale’s was over an almost identical period of time in the job and the run of results towards the end of last season and at the start of this one have been nowhere near good enough.

But, as worried as the fans might feel right now – and I’m one of them – I firmly believe this is not the time to start talking about getting rid of yet another manager.

There’s been way too much of that over the last few years and this constant chopping and changing flies in the face of everything Rangers Football Club have always been about.
