Ronaldo could help reignite Rangers flop Jose Cifuentes' career after the Ecuadorian revealed he had a personal one-on-one meeting with the Brazilian legend.
Ibrox misfit midfielder Cifuentes was shipped off on loan back to South America with Cruzeiro after a disappointing stint in the Scottish Premiership.
His new club have an option to turn the loan move into a permanent one at the end of the Brazilian season. Cruzeiro are owned and bankrolled by World Cup legend Ronaldo and he personally met the Rangers player at the club's training centre when he arrived at the club.
And Cifuentes said: "I want to thank the fans for the welcome messages and comments to me. I am excited, happy and looking forward to bringing joy to all of them. "I had the enormous pleasure of meeting Ronaldo - one of the greatest players in the history of football.
