Rangers have told season ticket holders in the Copland Road Stand rear that they WILL get a seat for Sunday’s Hibs clash even if the area isn’t open.
The Ibrox club contacted fans in the rear of the stand with the club still awaiting the necessary safety certificates to reopen the stand to full capacity, with the lower section housing fans for Saturday’s Premier Sports Cup clash.
Rangers chiefs are frantically trying to accommodate those with season tickets in the rear in the event that they can’t sit in their own seat.
They have invited all season ticket holders in the ground to make their tickets available on seatsub ticket exchange which will help, while Hibs are also unsure if an away allocation will be offered which would free up around 1000 extra seat for home fans.
