Rangers are reportedly concerned over a potential partial stadium ban following their Europa League clash with Lyon. UEFA could be ready to take firm action against the club after fans let off fireworks INSIDE the ground during the opening exchanges of the 4-1 Europa League defeat.
The game was briefly brought to a halt by referee Svan Jablonski as pyrotechnics were let off in a stands and fireworks were sent into the sky - with smoke filling Ibrox as Malick Fofana opened the scoring inside the opening 10 minutes.
The Scottish Sun now report that match delegate Johny Vanspauwen has submitted his report to European football’s governing body with the incident at the top of the talking points.
UEFA have previously dished out partial stadium closures for similar incidents for subsequent home games -with the report stating a similar punishment has not been "ruled out" for Rangers going into their next home game with FCSB.
