Philippe Clement says he’s planning a major overhaul of Rangers’ training regime after complaining the squad he inherited from Michael Beale is carrying too many crocked stars.

The new Ibrox gaffer is hoping to welcome Todd Cantwell, Ryan Jack, Danilo and Kemar Roofe back from lay-offs as he takes charge of the Light Blues for the first time at home to Hibs today.

But the Belgian admits it’s unlikely any of them are ready to last the 90 minutes against Nick Montgomery’s side. And with Tom Lawrence, Rabbi Matondo, Kieran Dowell and Zak Lovelace still sidelined - as well as Jose Ciffunetes, who has also returned from Ecuador duty carrying a knock - Clement says changes are required after admitting fitness levels aren’t up the standards he desires.

The former Genk, Brugge and Monaco gaffer said: “I have a list here of all the players who are not available for 90 minutes.
