Rangers goal branded 'suspect' by fuming Bevis Mugabi as Motherwell stars voices major VAR fear

dailyrecord.co.uk

Motherwell defender Bevis Mugabi has claimed the lines drawn by VAR in the build up to Todd Cantwell's Rangers goal appear "a bit suspect".

Michael Beale's side left Fir Park with three points despite a battling performance from the Steelmen, who took the lead early in the Scottish Premiership clash before James Tavernier levelled the game.

Fashion Sakala would put Rangers in front, before Mugabi scrambled the ball in to level the game - before Cantwell's goal was allowed to stand after a lengthy check.

When the ball was slipped to forward Sakala in the build up he appeared to be in an offside position before he whipped a cross into the box, but the VAR check allowed the goal to stand.
