Europe provided bruising experiences this season for Scottish clubs - but Rangers' achievements on the continent over the past five seasons.

The Light Blues have come a long way from Pedro Caixinha pointing fingers from a bush after Progres Niederkorn, playing in the Champions League group stages this season after making last season's Europa League final.

They have also made the knockout rounds of said tournament too under Steven Gerrard, with Celtic placing in the elite group stages too after competing in all three Euro competitions in Ange Postecoglou's maiden term, alongside continental forays under Neil Lennon and Brendan Rodgers.

But now new numbers from SwissFootballData have shown where Rangers in particular stack up on the European stage. On the UEFA country ranking list of The most successful teams in the last five seasons, the Ibrox club are sixth, with a score of 18.125 only bettered by five other clubs, Real Madrid and Barcelona amongst those ranking below them.
