Austria manager Ralf Rangnick has confirmed Manchester United midfielder Marcel Sabitzer is suffering from a knee problem. Sabitzer was absent from United's matchday squad against Real Betis and Southampton at Old Trafford this month with an unspecified injury, but he played a full 90 minutes against Fulham in the last game before the international break.
The 29-year-old, who was signed on loan from Bayern Munich in January, scored twice for Austria in their 4-1 victory against Azerbaijan last week, although he could miss his nation's clash against Estonia on Monday night.
Rangnick manages Austria's national side and he's revealed that Sabitzer is suffering from knee pain, which needs to be managed. "Of course, we hope that Marcel will do well, especially after that first game in Linz.
At the moment, I'm optimistic that it can work. "But, at the end of the day, it's also a question of whether Marcel feels ready for it himself.
