Raheem Sterling has set his sights on winning the Champions League with Chelsea after agreeing personal terms ahead of a move to Stamford Bridge.
Sterling is set to become Chelsea’s highest-paid player on a salary worth in excess of £300,000-a-week and there is optimism that a deal will be wrapped up before the Blues depart on Saturday for their pre-season tour to the United States.
Chelsea and Manchester City are currently in the process of finalising a fee for Sterling, but he is expected to move back to London as part of a transfer worth an initial £45million.
The England forward has agreed personal terms with Chelsea and has set ambitious targets for his career at Stamford Bridge. The 27-year-old wants to win the Champions League, while he is also determined to compete for the prestigious Ballon d’Or award.
