‘Pulling my hair out’ - Former Manchester United hero details major gripe with Antony

Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole says he would be ‘pulling his hair out’ if he played alongside Antony due to his inability to cross with his weaker right foot.

The winger put in an unremarkable shift in Sunday’s loss to Newcastle and was taken off for Jadon Sancho just after the hour mark with the game still goalless.

Antony scored in each of his first three Premier League matches but has failed to find the net in the competition since the 2-1 win away at Everton on October 9.

At times, the 23-year-old has drawn criticism for his perceived lack of output when United are on the back foot, although he has four more goals in other competitions this season.
