PSV in 'don't tell Rangers' appeal as Peter Bosz reveals star man is in mix for shock Champions League return

Peter Bosz has given injured Patrick van Aanholt a shot at making the Champions League playoff return showdown with Rangers.

But after the reveal the boss quickly urged the gathered media to keep it a secret from Michael Beale and the Scottish Premiership side.

The Dutch international wing-back went off on the opening day Eredivisie victory over Vitesse and they player had been set to miss both legs of the tie.

He was pulled from the Champions League squad going into the first leg at Ibrox but PSV have up until midnight to make any last minute changes to their squad for the crucial group stage shoot-out in the Netherlands with boss Bosz giving the full-back every chance to make the second leg.
