Cricket South Africa (CSA) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board have confirmed that the two-Test series between the Proteas and the Tigers will start on 21 October.

CSA announced in a statement on Monday that the series has been given the all-clear after a security assessment recently conducted in Bangladesh following political unrest which had cast doubt over its continuation in the South Asian nation. After that, the team will travel to Chattogram for the second match, scheduled from 29 October to 2 November.The Proteas' touring squad is expected to be announced later on Monday.
