Poundland announce Christmas truck tour to rival Coca-Cola - and it's coming to Greater Manchester

The Coca-Cola Christmas truck may be the headline grabber at this time of year, but Poundland has announced its launching its own version.

And Santa and his Elf will be at the wheel of the Poundland Express. The Christmas truck will head out across the UK from today - and there's a special competition that may make it worth your while spotting it in all its glory this December.

Poundland bosses have transformed a truck at each of its three main distribution centres in Wigan, Greater Manchester, Springvale near Bilston in the West Midlands and Harlow in Essex.

The three trucks will start making deliveries to its stores between today (1 December) and Christmas Eve.
