A police car crashed into a telegraph pole during a collision in Bury. Paramedics and firefighters were called to assist following the incident on Bolton Road on Monday morning.
It followed a collision involving the police vehicle and another car. No injuries were reported. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "At approximately 11:40am today (Monday 28 August 2023), police were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Bolton Road, in Bury.

"Colleagues from NWAS (North West Ambulance Service) also attended the scene." A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "At approximately 11:40am on Monday, 28th August, firefighters were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Bolton Road, in Bury. "Two fire engines from Whitefield and Bury stations quickly attended the scene.
The collision involved two vehicles. "Firefighters worked to make the scene safe and were in attendance for around 45 minutes."
