Police officers escape unharmed after GMP car slams into pole during crash

A police car crashed into a telegraph pole during a collision in Bury. Paramedics and firefighters were called to assist following the incident on Bolton Road on Monday morning.

It followed a collision involving the police vehicle and another car. No injuries were reported. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "At approximately 11:40am today (Monday 28 August 2023), police were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Bolton Road, in Bury.

"Two fire engines from Whitefield and Bury stations quickly attended the scene.
